Campbell Bass Announces Another Collaboration

Nottingham jazz singer Campbell Bass announces a new collaboration with pianist Matt Ratcliffe.

With two dates beginning at award winning Hart’s restaurant based in Nottingham on Sunday June 26th and then The Whitehouse, Sawley, Derbyshire on Thursday July14th. Both venues normally play host to Campbell performing his Solo set but they have already expressed their excitement about the NEW duo predicting a successful evening as tables are selling nicely.

Inspired performers in their own right, they have come together to show another diversity to their talents.

Campbell with his jazzy, soulful vocals and his charismatic personality is the perfect accompaniment for gifted pianist Matt Ratcliffe.

Their substantial credentials come together to create a quintessential sound.

Although Campbell is best known around the Midlands he has also performed through out the UK as well as taking on engagements in Europe working with some well know household names, he never fails to impress his audiences.

Matt Ratcliffe is an accomplished and sort after pianist, his talents are in demand by musicians up and down the UK’s jazz scene. Matt has played the Mosley, Cheltenham, Manchester, Brecon Jazz festivals as well as performing at many Jazz clubs around the U.K.  Matt’s approach to the piano is rooted in the jazz tradition with a love of the blues and music with soul.

They will be offering a unique evening of great music, featuring rearranged tunes of the 70’s and 80’s with a soulful jazzy vibe and not forgetting the trademark Great American Songbook.
